Founders

 Troop 42 was founded in May 2019 by a group of girls who liked spending time outdoors and had their curiosity about Scouting piqued by friends and Eagles Scouts in their families. Troop 42’s founders chose the Troop’s number because the number 42 is the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’s “Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything. . . .”  Two of the original five scouts chose to pursue and earn the Rank of Eagle Scout.
